The Republican Party: same as ever?

Being no historian, and believing that certain political events may be seen as parts of a process, I've studied the Horoscopes shown, below, of the Republican Party; the two dates reveal in 1854 a time frame during which the Party was being founded. Notably, there are other founding Horoscopes for the Party as well but to include them here is beyond the scope of this brief post.

First, a sheepish mea culpa, dear reader!

For after spending the day studying and notating the charts, there's no time for typing much so basically you're on your own.

Yet hopefully, you can make out my scribbled astro-notes penned on the image, perhaps by enlarging and/or printing them if you must. If you do so, you may find some interesting tidbits. Then if you wonder about the authoritarian direction the Republican Party has taken in recent years, try focusing on the lower left chart for March 20, 1854.

As examples of this, I'll type a few additional notes about planetary aspects to the 18 South Eclipse of November 30, 1853, aspects which influenced the Party's founding (@8Sag33 in 3rd house).

Meanwhile, the midpoint pictures penned on the image are quite descriptive of the kind of "drastic measures" the GOP must depend on these days since their extremely unpopular policies can't win elections without their cheating, rigging, and intimidating. And as you see on March 20, 1854, Mars-Uranus = MC is particularly chilling. Plus, there's US 1776 Jupiter at Midheaven (Goal Point) at the "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests" degree! No surprise there, am I right?

So! The current crop of Republicans are a determined bunch, are they not? To me, they behave in similar fashion to the infamous members of the death cult of personality that forced destructive policies of suffering and death upon populations of the 1930s and 40s - until they were brought up short for being the viol*nt criminals they were.

Well, there you have them in their infancy. Have they changed in these 172 years? After all, we know that much has been made through the years with a variety of attempts to spruce up the public image of the G.rand O.ld P.arty. Yet as usual I shall leave it to you, dear reader, to decide for yourself.

List of Solar and Lunar Eclipses 2026--2028 with Notes

As you see in the List below, Total Solar and Lunar Eclipses are underscored and the 12 North Solar Eclipse of January 26, 2028 is circled (6AQ11:01) because it conjuncts US 1776 South Node and transit Pluto simultaneously; Pluto-SN notes follow:

During periods of time when transformative Pluto and the Saturnian South Node meet, we may expect large-scale events within the Collective that are beyond personal control, bringing danger and risk to personal security. Obviously, victimization and persecution result. Yet on the positive side, this period will encourage self-reliance and enhance our ability to survive under difficult circumstances. However, it's only natural that resentment and misunderstandings are also to be expected.

For as we're already seeing in 2025, major reforms are and will fail to take into consideration how negatively people's lives are effected by cruel social and political changes, and folks will be forced to regenerate their lives without the help of others. Of course, we think of America's social safety net programs that have been under threat from greedy economic royalists since the FDR administration created them in the 1930s to reduce poverty and the suffering and loss it brings. Therefore, strengthening and supporting our communities will be essential for best results, as I'm certain you already know.

Now curiously enough, Solar Eclipses in the above Saros Series manifested during the miserable Naz* Era: 10 North December 25, 1935 through 12 North December 2, 1937.

And so with History rhyming as Eclipse Cycles manifest "like clockwork" on a 18.6-year schedule, revealed here are the "hardship" that Elon M*sk predicted for the American people coupled with the American Carn*ge that Mr. Tr*mp foretold in his Inaugural Address of January 20, 2017 - both predictions now aided by the barbarians of Project 2025 mindset as they purge our population of those they consider useless to their authoritarian agenda of power and dystopian control.

This is another reminder of the vicious Naz* era - returning for humanity to better deal with its brutality than before. Yes, this is what the repetitive Eclipse Cycle is intended for - to provide further opportunities for karmic progress to be made. Or not, thanks to bad faith actors of the barbarian kind who unfortunately control the levers of power now more than they did in the 1930s. They grew the fascist movement into a global conflagration.

And so in closing, dear reader, I wish to apologize for this dreary post because, as a Saturnian astrologer, it would be remiss of me to dress up such drab topics like a self-deluded emperor sporting his distasteful birthday suit. For after all, the entire world has had enough of that madness already.

But now the rumor is, it's Teflon's close adviser Stephen Miller, deporter-in-chief, and a fellow identified by his own Sun-Moon personality blend as a "bulldozer."

Viewing Year 2025 through the cosmic lens of the year's disruptive "Wild Card" Eclipses reveals emphases on the signs of Aries (one solar) and the Virgo-Pisces victim-savior axis (one solar, both lunars). This spotlights or activates the planets Mars (Aries), plus, Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune (Virgo-Pisces) for Cosmic Blink imperatives sent from Above. Changes of direction in earthly events will likely occur and secrets and/or inconveient facts are set to be uncovered.

So today, for my Friday end-of-the-week post, you see below a dual image of the two Solar Eclipses of 2025 in the 9 New North and the 9 New South Saros Series, along with a dual image of both Total Lunar Eclipses of 2025.

And below are the Lunar Eclipses. As you see, the first eclipse of 2025 is the Total Lunar Eclipse of March 14th @23Vir56 which conjuncts US 1776 Neptune and squares our 1776 Mars in Gemini. This eclipse ruffles our nation's problematic Mars-Neptune square with its "unconscious habit patterns not appropriate to present reality" (Sakoian and Acker), plus, misdirected motivations, and the fog of war.

Underlying it all is the Moon-Neptune pairing which suggests potentials for refined feelings, subconscious stirrings, faulty assimilation of impressions, illusions and self-deception, oversensitivity, a lack of confidence, strange notions (R. Ebertin) - and the same old mass delusion aligned with our beguiling fantasy that Tr*mp will continue to exploit to the utmost:

What's Up, Modern Humanity?

Information found via the Wikipedia page concerning America's Robber baron class of the Gilded Age resonates from the 19th century through to our era of American Plutocracy, corporate fascists, thieving demagogues, corrupt politicians, and others who exploit the masses in order to build and protect their fortunes. Win at any cost is their tiresome refrain, no matter the collateral damage along with the degradation of society.

Meanwhile, adding a bit of Eclipse Astrology to the cosmic picture of anti-societal manipulators obssessed with power and wealth may be of interest to a dear reader such as yourself.

Eclipses Place Historical Events in Context

Themes of 2 Old North, a difficult series of unfortunate news; issues of separation or endings of unions; things look glum but outcomes can be positive if fast action is taken (B. Brady). Is it curious that this happens to be the Prenatal Eclipse Series ('PE') of John Wilkes Booth and Donald Tr*mp, two Mars-Pluto kind of guys?

So below is a list of Solar and Lunar Eclipses for the years 1891 and 1892. The Total Eclipse of influence upon Modern Humanity (as timed by Neptune-Pluto Conjunctions of 1891/92) manifested in the 2 Old North Saros Series on April 26, 1892 @7Tau05:06: that's Venus-ruled Taurus, a money sign of possession, growth, and The Bull of Wall Street. We can add intolerance toward others to the Taurean mix, which is a nice way to avoid mentioning their racism and bigotry.

Eclipses of 1891 and 1892:

Messily penned on the above list are a few notes regarding the prominent, forceful, overriding planetary duo of Mars and Pluto which form a cosmic time link between years 072 and 1892!

Of course, these are not the only cosmic influences during either of those years yet the duo points toward the escalating level of violence of our time now affecting cultures around the world, and with the two planets specifically aligning in opposition in time for US Election 2024 in November with many of America's plutocrats, corporate types, and complicit politicians joined together in league to collapse our country, destroy democracy, and undermine the US dollar so that "crypto-currency" can take over (a la Musk and Thiel in particular, former PayPal partners).

One clue of this? That the initial 2 Old North Eclipse of June 24, 072 was conjoined in July 1776 by America's Jupiter @5Can56 with its revealing Sabian Symbol for "6 Cancer": "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests." And isn't that what corrupt politicians, their greedy enablers, and anti-democracy corporatists have been up to ever since - at our expense? Besides, Jupiter-Eclipse energies combined indicate issues of immorality and unethical behavior.

Neptune-Pluto of the Criminal Underworld

Now according to Astrology, the cosmic clock of Modern Humanity is timed by Neptune Conjunct Pluto 3 times: 1. August 2, 1891 @8Gem38; 2. November 5, 1891 @8Gem19; 3. April 30, 1892 @7Gem42. As you see, a midpoint picture forms with US 1776 Uranus (8Gem55), and humanity remains under its sway of potentials for:

Impersonal attitudes about destructive or antisocial activities; unusual means to escape from or change reality; going to extremes with drugs (M. Munkasey); possibly aberrant behavior; disruption to gain recognition; adventurous ego thrust; making waves to get to shore; courage (N. Tyl); hypersensitive nerves; peculiar discoveries; the mystical or supernatural (R. Ebertin).

A Vast Rei*h-Wing Conspiracy of Global Proportions vs Democracy

Among other things, the combined energies of the Neptune-Pluto duo represent Underworld Crime and their Syndicates, often described as organized crime and/or mobsterism. My suspicion is that the 1891/92 conjunctions in early Gemini landing upon US 1776 Uranus and occurring during the Robber baron/Gilded Age time frame spotlights today's crop of Uranian Utopians: the zealots, rebels, secessionists, and anarchists of the Maga persuasion - unethical scofflaws who break laws and traditions with abandon and resent any attempts to hold them accountable. And this is the exact opposite of our framers' founding idea: that man is capable of governing himself - without the oppression of monarchy.

Yes, that's Utopianism for you - the idea that man is in no need of laws and can do as he "will." So perhaps we can agree that many so-called "Maga" folks are linked to criminality yet other associations cannot be ruled out whether involving various trafficking activities, financial and religious scams, protection rackets, bribes and favors, political chicanery and/or the occult.

So this is today's spot check on Modern Humanity. No, we don't actually need Astrology or Eclipses to tell us that things aren't all together peachy at the moment, certainly not for everyone. However, astrological principles can help put things in perspective - at least until we get our ducks in a row - and get them we shall!

VP Kamala Harris' Jupiter Return 2024

On April 30, 2024, transit Jupiter in Gemini returned to position in the natal horoscope of VP Kamala Harris, our 2024 democratic candidate for the presidency. For your consideration, here are two images of her same Jupiter Return Horoscope of April 30, 2024, the first chart unmarked, the second with a bunch of my astro-notes scribbled on; both charts are set for Washington DC since VP Harris lives at the Naval Observatory residence as Vice Presidents traditionally do:

Of late, a major transit to VP Harris' natal Jupiter @24Tau00 is a conjunction from Uranus - like an electrifying magic wand - which suggests potentials for broadened horizons, long-distance travel, expanded training of some kind, and heading down a new path! Also present is fixed star Algol conjunct her Jupiter which to me suggests Jupiter's protective function as she has and will go up against cruel, immoral perpetrators (Algol) like Mr. Trump, born with Algol at his career point (MC) and promoting destruction, revenge, and a dark draconian vision for America's future.

Spring Equinox 2024: Moon-Pluto

This post is a second look at the Spring Equinox 2024 Horoscope, again set for Washington DC. Unlisted is the Vertex ('VX') of fated encounters which falls at a Cardinal World Point of Manifestation: 00Can11 in the 8th house of the chart which qualifies as a cosmic time link with the 4 North Solar Eclipse @00Can21 on June 21, 2020 with themes of "restriction; restraint; illusion; separation; misjudging strength or the situation' (B. Brady).

Obviously, year 2020 is prominent for America in particular because it ended with the 4 South Electoral College Vote Eclipse of December 14, 2020 @23Sagittarius (near Trump's natal Moon/SN) with its "strong emotions over finances and/or relationships; sudden urge to end unions; blocked emotions; sense of fatedness; events beyond control; avoid rash action" (paraphrasing B.Brady). And as we know, these frustrated energies gave rise to "The Big Lie."

So as you see for year 2024, there's a prominent, emotional Moon-Pluto opposition (astro-notes penned on the chart, upper center) with Pluto @1AQ39 in 3rd house leading a BOWL shape (advocating for a cause along with Altair, the eagle star of empire) while combative Mars @27AQ46 conjuncts the IC of Domestic Scene and suggesting the quarrels, anger, and a potential for violent acts which Campaign 2024 could bring - but no one needs Astrology to tell them these possibilities:

Now for astrologers who use a late afternoon horoscope for America (July 4, 1776), Mars @26AQ46 conjuncts US Moon in late Aquarius which adds another level of belligerence and aggression to the Spring 2024 Moon-Pluto picture. Plus, as you know, a Spring Equinox Horoscope may be utilized for an entire year but also for a quarter of a year with the Summer Solstice 2024 Horoscope "taking over" in June. Yet obviously, an overview of both charts, plus, Autumn EQ and Winter Solstice will provide the broadest picture of an entire year into the next.

As an example, society has continued to operate under the auspices of the Winter Solstice 2023 Horoscope since last December and will continue to do so until the above March 19th horoscope "takes over" the reins, so to speak. Well, planetary positions do morph into one another don't they, as round and round they go, cycles within cycles.

Then last but not least, the above foundational position of warrior planet Mars diametrically opposes the natal Mars @26Leo46 and rising of Mr. Trump and reveals a year of hitting his head against a brick wall (due to irrational/unreasonable desires, as echoed above in my the Moon-Pluto opposition notes), with his ideas, plans, and aggressive actions meeting the equally determined forces arrayed against him.

And all under the influence of the 7 South Solar Eclipse which manifested on October 14, 2023 @21Lib07 with themes of "crisis," or, "a huge obstacle suddenly clears" with everything seeming to "move at great speed" (B. Brady) - and in Libra, the sign of the Scales of Justice.

Is AG Merrick Garland "spineless"?

Previously, we discussed the personality blend of AG Merrick Garland (Sun Scorpio-Moon Libra) but now that he's under attack more than ever for his handling of "the Trump trials," his appointment of over-stepper Robert Hur, and other legal matters, so a look at two particular Solar Eclipses would be informative regarding the cosmic energies affecting AG Garland's natal planets now and in 2024, and, by extension, affecting legal matters, Election 2024, and the Department of Justice in the US.

Above is a dual image of the two "Garland-adjacent" eclipses: one is the 7 South Eclipse of October 14, 2023 (lower left) with themes of 'crisis', or, 'a huge obstacle suddenly clears'--B. Brady) in effect as I type and operative until the Great American Eclipse of April 8, 2024--along with an Eclipse repeating in Garland's personal 8 South Solar Eclipse Series on October 2, 2024 @10Libra (upper right); 8S themes: 'loss, separation, sad partings; overstrain, possible physical injury' (B. Brady), and acting as the PE influencing Election 2024 and Inauguration 2025.

Yet without an accurate birth time for Merrick Garland, we can't be certain where 10Libra falls in his natal chart, but the point is, 8 South is his personal eclipse series so its themes are coming up for review in his life and gives him the opportunity to deal more successfully with events brought along by the eclipse. Of interest is that his Prenatal Eclipse ('PE') prior to his birth occurred @27Leo31 - conjunct royal Regulus back on August 20, 1952. Previously, an 8 South Eclipse manifested on August 21, 1933 @28Leo--conjunct Regulus. And this creates a cosmic time link from Garland's 1952 Eclipse through October 2, 2024, then back to the Nazi era - all three are 8 South Eclipses.

So last but not least, let's assess solar eclipse potentials when they manifest in the Venus-ruled Libra, sign of the Scales of Justice:

Positive expression includes issues of 'fair play, cooperation, impartiality, karmic relationships, and the promotion of world justice'. Negative expression includes: 'spinelessness; injustice, insincerity, and self-indulgence'. (paraphrasing R. Lineman, Eclipses).

So it's sad to say for democracy, but when it comes to having the courage to stop Fascism from taking over America, perhaps AG Garland's critics are spot-on.

Of course judges and SCOTUS justices are wary if not scared of the Trump Mob! Wouldn't you be if agent orange used his rhetoric to send thugs against you and your family?

Obviously, a related current event issuing from the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 is wanna-be dictator Trump's sinister urge to use the US military to go after his opponents. So! it's 1. Great American Eclipse 1878: Rutherford B. Hayes and his controversial election;

Biden in the White House, sore loser Trump's Big Lie ongoing to disguise his loss in November 2020 - and with democracy on the line for Election 2024 while enemies of America, both foreign and domestic, work to cheat their fascist way into authoritarian control of our country by use of disputed presidential elections, for one thing.

Penned between the Solar and Lunar Eclipse Lists are the first and second Great American Eclipses of 1878 (6 South) and 2017 (1 North):

Themes of 6 South: 'being forceful taking power, huge efforts in group activities'; and 1 North: 'unexpected events, issues loom large, make no hasty decisions because information is distorted and possibly false.'

Eclipse Cycles Time Similar Historical Events

As readers of SO'W know, a Solar Eclipse in the 6 South Saros Series - the same family as the Nazis Rise to Power Eclipse of August 1932 - has already repeated and its theme of 'being forceful, taking power' brought along a partial electoral victory at the 2022 Midterms allowing maga Republicans to commandeer the US House of Representatives. We've seen what an amateurish 3-ring circus that has been as they pretend to govern while undermining the rule of law, yapping at the heels of President Joe Biden, and attempting to follow orders from their wealthy overlords. And sporting AR-15 pins on their lapels as silent threats.

My point is, We the People are in the thick of a struggle against barbaric Nazis with racism and 'Aryanism' the arrows in their hate-filled quivers as before. But unlike in WWII, the battlefields are different and the criminals are more sophisticated and organized, so that focus, not apathy, must be maintained if we are to vanquish the enslaving enemy once again. For as you know, freedom, once lost, is difficult to regain.

My suspicion is that there are enemies of America who use cosmic factors as timing agents: an obvious example is 1930s Pluto in Cancer (the magician) now opposed by Pluto in Capricorn (the dictator) for a while longer, as a 'Full Moon' culmination opportunity to fulfill little Adolf's perverted dream of global domination when democracy could be banished from the Earth, and creepy Pluto, as a symbol of death and transformation, could bring the primal violence, extremism, and exploitation needed to enforce tyrannical government against the will of the people. That our nation has now experienced her first-ever Pluto Return (27Cap33) in 2022 must have seemed like a perfect excuse for transformative activities.

Then looking ahead, we have another watershed moment in time: the third of three Great American Eclipses to 'look forward to' with its 8 North themes of visions and good ideas although as a Mars-ruled Aries Eclipse manifesting in 2024, an election year, I must wonder what disruptions, revelations, and wild cards the Cosmos has in mind for our democratic Republic.

Now one of Chiron's archetypal roles is priestly, so it seems that our nation's spiritual lacks, moral degradations, and missteps are coming home to roost with the chickens, dear reader, and have always been made more difficult to navigate and correct due to political interference of the corrupt kind. Now it's crisis time, and We the People are made targets of America's enemies in a variety of ways. When you turn on 'the news', I know you see this being played out - on TV to cause as much despair within the populace as possible.

Made famous in our day by a film starring Tom Cruise, Operation Valkyrie was a real event, one of over 40 assassination attempts against Adolf Hitler, and the most well-known attempt by Germany's high-ranking military officers of aristocratic descent. Many of them had also committed crimes, but to their credit, the plotters wanted to end the war and bring down the brutal, murderous, racist, psychopathic Hitler regime. However, as you know, the briefcase bomb exploded during the meeting at Hitler's Wolf's Lair headquarters, but the damage didn't reach Herr H himself, more's the pity.

The failed assassination attempt took place in what is now Poland on July 20, 1944, the very day of a Solar Eclipse @27Cancer in the 19 North Saros Series. Of significance to current US events of a fascist-nazi nature, is the fact that 19 North is the series in which our 2016 Presidential Election took place as well as the 2017 Inauguration of foreign agent orange (horoscope linked, below).

As a cosmic time link, we can note that the 19 North Eclipse of 1944 manifested in opposition to America's 1776 Pluto which suggests "a critical point in karmic development" when arrives a choice between "striving for higher attainments on the spiritual plane" - or, "reverting to animalism" (R. Lineman). It's no stretch to see the connection between America's turn from the animalism during the Hitler era and World War II, and its tragic embrace by a mobster-like figurehead and his rabid followers in our day as the struggle of a pro-democacy America against fascism (which opens the door to nazism) continues toward Election 2024 and beyond.

We might even say that in America circa 2016, a big bad wolf crashed into the henhouse, and on January 20, 2017, the thieving wolf was allowed to take over the egg-shaped Oval Office, vowing to "end" American carnage, yet we now see its flowering via his 'failed insurrection coup 2021', and violent events perpetrated all around our nation against children and others with weapons sales promoted by the NRA - and most crimes having obvious links between "white power" then and now.

'Big Lie' Beliefs Float Upon Fluffy Clouds of Neptune

With approximately one third of US voters swayed by the rhetoric of Herr Trump, the September 1, 2016 repetition of a 19 North Eclipse was unfortunately opposed by transit Neptune in Pisces, a cosmic implication of falsehoods, fraud, deception, delusion, dissolution, illusion, and gaslighting if there ever was one. 2016 Neptune was used by enemies of America to create a cosmic counterbalance to the fact-based themes of 19 North:

"Realism; coming down to earth and seeing an old situation for what it really is; a good time for tackling the truth" (paraphrasing B. Brady). Disappointingly, Neptune in Pisces clouded every issue within the public discourse and continues to do so, including within the Neptunian realms of mass media and the masses, aka, the Collective.

Aspects to the above Eclipse contain potentials of rebellion, belligerent use of force (square Mars), immature people taking the easy way out and denying reality (square Saturn), reality vs fantasy, chaos, confusion, self-delusion (opposite Neptune), and people who can see beneath superficial layers of reality (trine Pluto, with Pluto conjunct US 'Powell' Moon of July 1, 1776 notated on the horoscope as turmoil, emotional trauma, upsets, strong emotions).

Then for political involvement in 2023, we have only to consider which party was founded under the nebulous rays of Neptune in Pisces: the Republican Party of 1854. The party's recent Neptune Return spotlights the planet's dissolving and undermining functions as absurd conspiracies and false ideals lead their 'maga' agenda into superficial pursuits designed to neglect the country's real issues and concerns which need serious attention on Capitol Hill. Yet as authoritarian Republicans know, an America collapsed into chaos is a good time to attempt to establish a new form of government, as history shows, be it fascist as it may be.

So my fuss for today is that the "old situation" that every voter in 2016 should have seen for what it really was and is describes the brutal animalism of fascism and nazism, and the choice Americans had - and still have - to choose a higher course for our country going forward as Election 2024 nears.

On the Wikipedia page of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, we find that he was born on November 2, 1963 in Athens, Georgia (my hometown: sorry!), but the main reason Mr. Kemp is mentioned today on SO'W is because he's chomping at the bit to rise even higher from state to national politics. Well, so far he's exercised effective cheating chops in and around elections which only recommends him to the Republican Party of win-at-any-cost comrades for whom truth is only relative, if it shows up at all.

And although I'm not at liberty to reveal my sources back in Georgia, suffice to say that Mr. Kemp has long been known in the state for acting below board in business dealings and shiftily in politics. For one example, see how in 2019 Kemp quietly settled a lawsuit over a bad business loan. Now some folks might agree with me that "bad" often substitutes for the word corrupt. And most everyone has heard before now of how Kemp cheated his way into the governor's office by counting the votes himself as Georgia's Secretary of State against Democrat Stacey Abrams (December 9, 1973) whose freely available natal chart is rated AA for accuracy. Besides, can you image Secretary of State Brian Kemp honorably counting votes in favor of Stacey Abrams when he could use his official position to "win" the governorship he now enjoys?

Anyway, having found no example of a natal chart for Brian Kemp to link you to, dear reader, here is an unmarked 'noon' horoscope set for November 2, 1963 in Athens, Georgia (in case it should come in handy one day):

So we might suspect that 1 North eclipses time difficulties and turmoil on planet Earth as the 'wild card' they clearly are. Well, good news: the next 1 North eclipse won't occur until September 2, 2035 @9Virgo so at least we have that goin' for us.

Then when one's PE lands in the Moon-ruled sign of Cancer, we can assume that there are connections to psychic ability, to karmic family ties, and to emotional extremes that can cause blockages to karmic development, and result in a lack of personal growth. A tendency to hide in an emotional shell (like a crab on the beach) as a child might do in an attempt to avoid dealing directly with issues may be noticed, or its opposite: being too involved emotionally to see clearly the issues brought by the eclipse. To me this resonates with 1 North Eclipse themes, noted above, such as avoiding decision-making while under pressure, and which possibly involve family members. Or perhaps not dealing with issues at all.

Now besides Brian Kemp, names of other Republicans are being "floated" for the party's 2024 presidential nomination. As you know, the 1st Oath was taken by a popular fellow, General George Washington, and his Oath-taking on that day creates our nation's archetypal model for the US Presidency. Here you see the 1st Oath Horoscope set for 2:00 pm LMT (historical record) with Virgo rising, Gemini at Midheaven, both ruled by Mercury, planet of oaths and those who take them - here in pioneering Aries; several of President Joe Biden's natal placements are penned around the chart, such as 1789 North Node @28Scorpio pointing directly toward Biden's natal Venus-Sun:

Sun @10Tau46 (9th house), the leader, has been under the influence of the 6 North Solar Eclipse since April 2022 (@10Tau28) yet 6 North themes are in process of waning as the 6 South Eclipse @2Scorpio (October 25, 2022) takes over and a forceful power grab for control intensifies. As for eclipses and the US presidency, we know that all eclipses act as Uranian 'wild cards of the Universe' and 'cosmic blinks' which suggests the unpredictability of their effects. Disruption we know, change of course may be forthcoming, perhaps even Earth shifts or weather events, yet sometimes the themes of a particular series don't have as strong an effect upon circumstances as the fact that an eclipse manifests upon a certain planet, star, or point in a horoscope. Naturally, total eclipses are the strongest actors and in similar fashion to planet Uranus, eclipses may act early, on time, late, or never with a multitude of factors mitigating and/or supporting their energies and power.

That said, I suspect that most SO'W readers would agree that 6 North themes (ex: 'relationship to authority figures') have affected the US presidency, a role which, at this time, happens to be inhabited by Joseph R. Biden. And I'll simply say that his maturity and experience have been appreciated after our country's previous roller coaster ride of misrule and criminality led by the orange scofflaw.

Now as you know, eclipses have a reputation for disruption, often to the point of a complete change of course for Earthly events as inconvenient secrets are revealed and scandals may result. Two nicknames for eclipses are self-explanatory: wild cards of the Universe and cosmic blinks, and they're often referred to as 'Uranian' due to their similarity in behavior to chaos planet of diruption, anarchy, and zealotry - Uranus. Perhaps you'll remember how Donald Trump was born with a 10th house (Career) Uranus @18Gemini, his oriental planet (rising just before his Sun) which means that erratic Uranus is his guiding planet, and in Mercury-ruled Gemini, made him a convincing orator (for some, for a while). However, Gemini is the sign of duplicity, which helped a majority of Americans see through his overblown rhetoric full of lies.

So when it comes to the US Presidential Election of 2024, the Solar Eclipse Series in which its 2024 manifestation falls, plus its Themes, are significant for our nation, and that's the 8 South Saros Series with themes of 'loss, separation, partings, sadness, overstrain, and/or injury' (B. And even though solar eclipses occurring in Venus-ruled Libra relate to issues of fairplay, cooperation, and causes that promote world justice, 8 South themes of loss prior to the upcoming presidential election may refer to a political party's loss, or to the tragic loss of American democracy unless US voters turn out at the polls and Vote Blue en masse.

Can this be any more obvious? Because we're told that a certain party is now rigging Electoral College Electors in various states to ignore the popular vote in a more aggressive and outrageous way than ever before. They hope it will be the conclusion and fulfillment of their January 6, 2021 coup attempt.

Then as you see in Washington DC, Pluto Stations in 11th house, a position suggesting 'powerful political groups and organizations' but can also hint at the loss of a group member; also note that star of misfortune, Scheat, rises with two midpoints: fantasy-prone Moon-Neptune of mass delusion, and the grand-spirit, speculative, bubbly pair of Jupiter-Neptune, a duo that often can include religious ideals (fake or genuine). Then as you see, the Sabian Symbol in The Goal position (MC) of the chart is, "The Pope Blessing the Faithful". And note that these planets form a Seesaw pattern of pros vs cons (progressives vs conservatives) suggesting that tiresome political quarrels continue while the needs of the populace languish:

Worth a mention is the Mars-Pluto inconjunction indicating potentials for obsessive agendas and scorched earth competition, aka, cutthroat competition (Pluto, the assassin?). This inconjunction (quincunx) echoes America's 1776 Mars-Pluto relationship from Gemini to Capricorn along with a second cosmic echo: a foggy Mars-Neptune square of misdirected energy and misguided actions (see bottom right corner). Now not everyone will suffer under or use such difficult energies against humanity but we're talking Politics here so you know the ones who probably will.

Then for society in general, there's another highly significant factor - that rising Neptune Rx @23Pis26 continues to oppose US 1776 Neptune in the more fact-based sign of Virgo which describes major ideological clashes, some of a generational nature, plus, persecutions in the realms of civil and human rights, rascism included. And as you know, astrological Pluto (the dragon and The Pope) never minds benefiting from a heaping load of exploitation, you know. Money laundering, theft, and protecting his hidden wealth are his jams.

That this Neptunian transit of opposition proceeds in 2022, the year of America's first-ever Pluto Return, only adds to the complexities of conditions now operative in US society and makes clear that larger forces erode many of our institutions, systems, laws and traditions. Karmic in nature, these planetary transits show that the time has come for America to alter what needs altering but most of us hope for improvements, not dissolution! And we could have made such alterations without interference from bad faith meddlers, but this wasn't their plan.

And so these active Neptunian and Plutonian energies describe what I continue to assert are being purposefully taken advantage of by foreign and domestic saboteurs, working as agents of a global criminal network of mobsters and thugs, many of whom are, or are aligned with, international financiers and corporatists (a lucrative business arrangement for conscience-free opportunists, no doubt). In fact, the Neptune-Pluto duo of organized crime and misogynist paternalism is having its underhanded way just now, and America has congressional Democrats to deal with this global authoritarian movement raising its brutal head once again from the 1930s. To me this means that criticizing Democrats, well meaning as it may be, tends to undermine their efforts on our behalf and gives energy and support to America's enemies - my personal view but naturally you have yours.

October 9th a Full Moon @16Ari33, then a Solar Eclipse

Additionally, a major cosmic event arrives a mere 17 days after Pluto's Station, the October 25, 2022 Solar Eclipse @2Scorpio in the difficult 6 South Saros Series which I've labeled, A House Raising mainly due to its political implications, plus, it is the Prenatal Eclipse of Midterms 2022 (the very day of a Taurus Lunar Eclipse conjunct radical Uranus, planet of chaos). And to me it seems that the 6 South Solar Eclipse occurs close enough to Pluto's Station to have some measure of disruptive 'wild card' influence in relation to the horoscope you see, above (in 7th house).

So unless you, dear reader, are an out-and-out fascist with neo-nazi leanings (or vice versa), remember to Vote Blue in 2022 - and in 2024.
