Leo Eclipses: 2026 and 2045

Today you see a dual image of two Solar Eclipses which land on the same date and degree (19 years apart) but in different families: lower left is the one that manifested today, August 12, 2026 in the 10 South Saros Series @20Leo01: upper right is the 11 South Eclipse @20Leo25 which will perfect on August 12, 2045.

Such cosmic synchronicity isn't unusual, of course, but today's 10 South inspired me to look ahead for an Eclipse that repeats at the same degree. Obviously, karma is involved as with all eclipses - cosmic blinks from Above - since they are often labeled wild cards of the Universe for their Uranian quality that can change or interrupt the course of activity on planet Earth. A solar Leo lens is useful for viewing the influences of both eclipses (see Leo notes, below) yet we should consider a blending of 10 South and 11 South themes.

Themes for each eclipse are penned on the image as is the "21 Leo" Sabian Symbol's negative (unconscious/shadow side) expression, compliments of Dr. Marc Edmund Jones' The Sabian Symbols in Astrology #ad. Then below the image I'll type a few notes about Solar Eclipses in the Sun-Ruled royal sign of Leo:

A Solar Eclipse in Leo spotlights a need to exercise leadership and authority in the karmic situations of the moment. Strong resolve is needed in order to correct conditions and past mistakes, and a half-hearted approach won't improve matters if karmic progress is wanted. Confidence is a must yet a self-centered egocentric approach is not the way to deal with issues for best results. Plus, negative Leonine traits such as pride, vainglory, pomposity,, ostentatiousness, overdramatization, and a me-first attitude are major obstacles to growth, finding solutions, and making progress.

At its foundation, paternal relationships are a karmic factor with a Leo Eclipse. Positive activities in relation to royal Leo include supporting the welfare of children through child development programs and anti-child abuse movements - both of which the world is direly in need of along with the higher levels of ethics and morality that must go with them (source includes R. Turkey hit by August 2026 Eclipse

Today just a quick posting to display the Turkey {Republic} Horoscope of October 29, 1923 (Campion #336) with its 3rd house Neptune @20leo13 which is about to be landed upon by the 10 South Solar Eclipse of August 12, 2026 @20Leo01.

Now Neptunian spiritual matters could be on the karmic menu or in the news via contact from this "cosmic blink eclipse" but a decided cultish influence may also be in evidence along with intrigue, surveillance, and/or theft via Neptune. For as you know, there may be a tendency toward wastefulness and/or theatricality with Neptune in showy Leo.

Secrets revealed or leaked are typical when an Eclipse hits a chart - and for Turkey this Eclipse involves secretive Neptune. Meanwhile, a change of direction in some department may also be expected in the coming months due to the Uranian influence of eclipses, and this activity falls just within the country's 3rd house of Communications, Education, and Short Journeys. However, the Eclipse-Neptune energies could affect the 2nd hou$e as well due to their closeness to the country's 2nd house (in the Placidus House System). Plus with Eclipses, we must always hope that no natural disaster befalls the region, but if so, water would likely be involved:

As we see, Turkey's 1923 Neptune squares its 5th house Venus and Jupiter (both money planets) so complexity increases because this means that the August 12th 10 South Eclipse squares Venus (frigid relationships; financial and/or currency difficulties). Then the Eclipse squares Jupiter which suggests that correct moral and ethical values must be employed if karmic progress is wanted (R. Lineman). If not, karmic blocks continue or worsen.

10 South Themes: Breaking out of a very negative situation where no hope can be seen to a space with more options; a worry suddenly clears; a solution is shown by the Cosmos and must be quickly utilized for best results (paraphrasing B. Brady's Predictive Astrology #ad).

Naturally, the August 2026 Leo Eclipse also affects America (I use eclipse degrees for comparisons) and 10 South happens to be the Pre-Event Eclipse ("PE") of Midterms 2026. A cosmic blink providing a solution (or resolution) from the Cosmos would be much appreciated - and a change of direction away from fascism would be a saving grace!
