The Republican Party: same as ever?

Being no historian, and believing that certain political events may be seen as parts of a process, I've studied the Horoscopes shown, below, of the Republican Party; the two dates reveal in 1854 a time frame during which the Party was being founded. Notably, there are other founding Horoscopes for the Party as well but to include them here is beyond the scope of this brief post.

First, a sheepish mea culpa, dear reader!

For after spending the day studying and notating the charts, there's no time for typing much so basically you're on your own.

Yet hopefully, you can make out my scribbled astro-notes penned on the image, perhaps by enlarging and/or printing them if you must. If you do so, you may find some interesting tidbits. Then if you wonder about the authoritarian direction the Republican Party has taken in recent years, try focusing on the lower left chart for March 20, 1854.

As examples of this, I'll type a few additional notes about planetary aspects to the 18 South Eclipse of November 30, 1853, aspects which influenced the Party's founding (@8Sag33 in 3rd house).

Meanwhile, the midpoint pictures penned on the image are quite descriptive of the kind of "drastic measures" the GOP must depend on these days since their extremely unpopular policies can't win elections without their cheating, rigging, and intimidating. And as you see on March 20, 1854, Mars-Uranus = MC is particularly chilling. Plus, there's US 1776 Jupiter at Midheaven (Goal Point) at the "Game Birds Feathering Their Nests" degree! No surprise there, am I right?

So! The current crop of Republicans are a determined bunch, are they not? To me, they behave in similar fashion to the infamous members of the death cult of personality that forced destructive policies of suffering and death upon populations of the 1930s and 40s - until they were brought up short for being the viol*nt criminals they were.

Well, there you have them in their infancy. Have they changed in these 172 years? After all, we know that much has been made through the years with a variety of attempts to spruce up the public image of the G.rand O.ld P.arty. Yet as usual I shall leave it to you, dear reader, to decide for yourself.

Government Shutdown Oct 1, 2025: Astrology Chart

Although yours truly has an aversion to publishing horoscopes for events which may not occur, below are two images for you. For as you know, yet another Republican Government Shutdown is likely to occur as of 12:01 am edt October 1, 2025. This time threats have been made that federal workers are to be fired, not only furloughed or temporarily forced to stay home.

If so, this will be part of their Project 2025 purge agenda intended to collapse our country and crash the US economy, and perhaps the global economy, too.

Plus, mass firings of US government workers will identify all the other government shutdowns (since Newt 1995/96) as rehearsals for the "real thing" - October 1, 2025.

And so below are two DC Horoscope images for you. The first is an unmarked Government Shutdown 2025 Horoscope, followed by a bi-wheel of the 9 New South Solar Eclipse of September 21, 2025 (theme: longterm worries surface about loved ones, health, paperwork issues - B. Brady). Obviously, the 9NS Eclipse's critical 29th degree of Virgo (sign of work, civil and military service, health) contains a major crisis factor, and Mr. T and his Maga minions are exploiting it:

Now when we add the October 1, 2025 transits to the Eclipse chart, the Moon-Jupiter opposition is Angular (a timer meaning that events tend to occur), and forms a T-Square to apex Mercury in 9th house (@21Libra27: "new ideas for a new future" - N. Tyl). Additionally, the Moon-Jupiter opposition (notated and highlighted, upper) denotes that our "trust and finances have been put in the wrong hands" - A. Oken). Now there's a factoid no one needs Astrology to tell them!

October 2025: Aries Full Moon

As you see in the DC Horoscope below, the October 6, 2025 Full Moon @14Ari08:29 perfects at 11:47:34 pm edt with 14Can21 rising along with the Sun-Moon midpoint which suggests meetings, new contacts, and/or frank or open behavior toward others (R. Ebertin).

Continuing my annoying habit of squooshing an abundance of astro-notes onto horoscopes, here's the Aries Full Moon of October 6, 2025 set for Washington DC:

Of course, we know that Full Moon phases indicate a culmination of something, of plans seeded at the previous New Moon, and in this case, the New Moon is the 9 New South Solar Eclipse (partial) of September 21, 2025 @29Vir05 which we've previously discussed, perfecting mere hours prior to Autumn Equinox 2025.

With Mercury-ruled Virgo, issues concerning health, healthcare, work, employment, Civil, military and other types of service, books and authors, and/or criticism, are prominent. Plus, facts (Virgo) continue to be under strain due to liars with anti-societal agendas such as Project 2025's purging imperative.

Meanwhile, with October's Aries Full Moon, there are Aries-Libra/Mars-Venus situations which spotlight relationships, strong personalities, rash actions, heated emotions, war and diplomacy. In the chart we find potentials that include the ending or beginning of associations or unions, and - expanded into the wider world - the variety of conflicts, quarrels, and negotiations that are in progress - or are rumored to be.

Additionally, the Full Moon horoscope shows suggestions of impractical plans, the habitual use of power and determination (both Toro and Sisyphus conjunct South Node), crisis conditions (apex Mercury), fanaticism, banking and other financial concerns, legalities (Sun conjunct US 1776 Saturn), cruel speech and speeches, difficult losses for some, possible illnesses, and/or someone experiencing consequences of their wrong actions.

Also notable under the rays of the Aries Full Moon are the several fixed stars conjunct planets that are listed around the chart.
