Call For Change

Call For Change

With November midterm elections almost upon us, we have an opportunity to re-define our world rather than continue accepting the war-mongering model Washington politicians have foisted upon us. Is their mindset our mindset? Is the beltway reality yours and mine, or only theirs?

MoveOn.org has some info you may want to check out before you cast your vote.

And you can verify that your name hasn't been lost or mysteriously "purged" from your local voting rolls by visiting mydem.democrats.com. Avoid nasty surprises on Voting Day, because with paper-and-document-influencing *Mercury now retrograde until November 18, it may be a l-o-n-g month in the ballot-counting and winner-declaring departments, my peops.

Hold on to your Diebolds, it's going to be a stumpy ride.

*Read my Oct 15 post on midterm elections 2006 for chart details for Nov 7, Washington DC, 11:00 pm, which symbolically represents the end of the balloting, and thus, the election results themselves. We hope.

And then there's this: does a software company owned by Hugo Chavez really own Smartmatic, who'll be counting US votes? Think about it--AFTER you've taken your blood pressure meds...gives the smell of sulphur new meaning.

A. Q. Khan is stable

Too bad the world isn't so stable after Khan sold nuclear weapon technology to North Korea, Libya, and Iran apparently under a delusional the-more-the-merrier concept. Let's get this party started?

Well, the 70-year-old Khan has been treated for a blood clot after some cancer-related surgery, so he's not partying as much these days.

Not to worry, World, Disgraced Pakistani Scientist Is Stable...but was he stable before? Hey, what room have I to talk? We've got a dry drunk's finger on The Button...who's shown the world what he's capable of.

Can the grown-ups with some common sense take over now...PLEASE?

more GAO warnings of looming disaster$

David M. Walker, US accountant-in-chief, will be touring the nation for the 2008 campaign cycle and continuing to warn the country of the "fiscal black hole" Washington has dug us into since the 90s.

And you KNOW who has been at the helm while the GAO Chief Warns Economic Disaster Looms and Washington insiders talk about anything BUT what we need to face and deal with most, or there won't BE a ship to steer--or steer astray. Of course, the "elite" will have theirs, won't they? And it seems they rather obviously care nothing for the nation who brung them.

Meanwhile, we're being punk'd by politics once again...

white powdery message to Clinton

Is this an October Surprise? Substance Said Found at Clinton's Office from an envelope opened by a woman.

Saturday UPDATE: Rambling diatribe, Clinton! Seems the Substance at Clinton's Office Not Toxic after all. Whew.

Is it 'sufferin' anthrax' time again? The disgruntled-citizen archetype speaks out in an ineffectual way...

Last evening's post starts here....

There are many surmises to be made from the chart (police called, 3:45 pm edt, Harlem, if you want to look) but without more details that's all it would be--surmises.

Here are the Sun/Moon Images for this afternoon which may be instructive of the day:

Sun Scorpio/Moon Capricorn (Cap Moon = the ambitious woman):

A general leads his troops to victory...A film director plans each shot to maximize its emotional impact.

And I'd say both may apply whether the "white powder" turns out to be bogus or not...and we may never really know, no matter what the line.

Will check back on this tale tomorrow and post a chart if should be instructive.
