Below is a dual image of two Solar Eclipses: 11 North January 26, 2009 (upper right) and the 12 North coming on January 26, 2028 (lower left). Occurring on the same day, of course they land on the same degree of the Zodiac: 6 Aquarius 29 and 11 - conjunct US 1776 South Node @6AQ35, a Saturnian point, as you know.
My study notes are penned on the image for both charts including each Eclipse's theme, the initial Eclipses in the 11 North and 12 North Saros Series, 11 North and 12 North dates and degrees when they repeated during America's Revolutionary era, and a bit about 11 North conjunct Jupiter (2009) while 12 North in 2028 will conjunct Pluto and US 1776 South Node.
When an Eclipse 'eclipses' another Eclipse, we may expect their themes to somehow combine, plus, the affairs of each house polarity may be unified on some level or levels. Additionally, instincts can be understood concerning past experiences and how they impact current circumstances. Here we're looking at themes of suddenly changing groups blended with accepting greater responsibities due to someone being unable to carry on (B. Brady).
Both themes suggest making greater commitments in relationships.
Of course, there's a basic difference: 2009 was a presidential Oath-taking year, while 2028 is merely a presidential campaign year assuming that we have one. That this Two-Eclipse circumstance might symbolize Barack Obama serving again as US president has crossed my mind, and yes, I've heard pundits mention the possibility. Unlikely, I'd say, but possible. Unlikely for one reason, because even though his natal Jupiter @00AQ51 Rx conjuncts POTUS Inaugural Sun, his natal Saturn-ASC midpoint @6AQ41 with transit Pluto tells a picture of upsets and anguish - not the least for the turmoil it would cause across the country. I would say his oration skill is his best and safest way to serve as he's been doing of late.
Now here's a view with astro-notes of the Inauguration 2029 Horoscope - optimistically added to this post. As we can see, the POTUS Sun 00AQ+ is posited, as usual, in 10th house of Career/Public Reputation along with power-craving Pluto conjunct the 6AQ+ degree, as mentioned above, and identifying the 'Aquarian' technocrats who will continue to interfere in societal concerns for the foreseeable future.
Tr*mp a Reaction to Barack Obama
Then in closing, here are a few notes from Adriano Carelli's 360 Degrees of the Zodiac (#ad) in which he prefers not rounding up a degree (as with Sabian Symbols). Therefore, here's Carelli's word picture and a few paraphrased details for the emphasized "6 Aquarius" degree spotlighted by Cosmic Blink Eclipses in both January 2009 and 2028:
6 AQ: "Wagner's Sixtus Beckmesser" an antisemitic character
Peevish, stubborn, ambitious, envious, a cantankerous critic; devoid of taste or finer feelings; prejudicial, he will never be satisfied with what he knows or possesses, hankering as he does for things he can improve upon; he has no sense of measure. A reputation as a speaker is possible; a juggler expressing grinding criticism of others.
Perhaps we can agree: it's easy to recognize him - Gemini, the juggler, and Jupiter stationary having no sense of measure or proportion, his hands constantly measuring the air as he speaks, and always obsessing over "the numbers" which, as I type, are not in his favor.
One Final Note: you'll find my original 11 North post sans edits about what I then labeled the "New President" Eclipse (for Barack Obama, sworn in 6 days earlier) published on Jude's Threshold, my WordPress blog, which is titled in honor of my 12th house Saturn, guardian of the threshold.
