As most folks realize, historical events don't repeat as much as they rhyme with past events, circumstances, and conditions. One way to keep tabs on this repetition phenomenon is through eclipse cycles and themes. So considering the blights of violence, cruelty, and loss that our anti-democratic "government" now spreads across the land, here's an excerpt from a previous post; its entirety is no longer timely, yet the excerpt's query is tragically appropriate:
"Back in the days of the French Revolution, Maximillien Robespierre and his cohorts thought they would establish a 'new order' with France at the helm - a 'Rational' State based on the Enlightenment principles of Uranus-Neptune (sans God) with the bl*ody guillotine at its ready disposal and aimed at the heads of all who disagreed. Has France's Reign of Terror ended or has a new phase now begun?"
