You know who--like the Koch Brothers who bankroll the Tea Party and the money-printing, privately owned 'Federal' Reserve Bank whose stockholders and board members lists--including any and all monarchists, Rockefellers, and Rothschilds--should have been fully revealed to the American people decades ago.

Colbert Report on being "Poor" in America (video); Jupiter trine Pluto
Without right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation and journalist Stephen Colbert to define what being "poor" in America really means, what would our refrigerator-rich, microwave-oven-infused nation do?

Here's the latest rant from the Heritage Foundation website against "liberals" who cause all of America's problems, didn't you know?! Good thing Bush-Cheney ignored them those 8 years and shoved their neocon-warhawk agenda upon the nation.
You know the Heritage Foundation was incorporated on February 16, 1973 as a reaction against Richard Nixon's 'liberal consensus' tendencies and it's been a neo-conservative thorn in our national side ever since. One of its founders, Paul Weyrich, is the one who said that large voter turn-outs don't help Republicans win elections.
Perhaps that's because a majority of the American people would never vote GOP--against their own best interests--if the truth were told during political campaigns rather than facts being spun and hidden. (Glaringly against our best interests is the 'trigger' mechanism inserted into the 'debt deal' on the Senate's table today. All the GOP has to do is not agree to the 'cuts' list and Americans crash.)
Now few of us would vote Republican if everyone made it to US voting booths and were allowed to cast a ballot. The Weyrich ploy is behind the ongoing and current movement to disenfranchise certain groups of voters with photo ID requirements and other hoops now placed between American citizens and their right to vote for the political brigand of their choice (for even most of the 'good' politicians turn bad when mixed into the corrupt system such as we have.) Votes can, of course, be skewed by miscounts, funky voting machines, and other tiresome, previously un-American tactics employed by both parties but mainly by the success-at-all-costs Republlican Party.
Astro-note on the Senate's session today which began at 9:30 am edt: the trine between Jupiter and Pluto blesses the proceedings and the US natal Pluto/Chiron midpoint was rising and signifying the global banking cartel, powerful religious leaders, US and global plutocrats now collapsing our nation, and an extreme depletion of resources.
But not to fret! Jupiter in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn are moving in and out of a privileged, futuristic trine these days so we can chillax--for plutocrats aren't the ones who will suffer 'extreme depletion of resources' because that's reserved for those pesky refrigerator-buying, microwave-using "poor" folks of America that we hear so much against and whom Democrats and Republicans are in process of legislating in order to further wound. Population control!
And Pentagon cuts? The Pentagon budget will still be able to grow with inflation so it's part of the ruse, people!
Personally I prefer the ideas of Van Jones and his Rebuild the Dream movement because I do not want neocons back in total control of Washington DC, much less running America off a cliff as they continue the Bush-Cheney trajectory along the path of a New World Order meant to dominate the entire globe.

Well, the Senate's action at noon will occur with Senator Bernie Sanders voting 'no' because the bill is, as he says, "grossly unfair". Agreed.
And what else was rising at 9:30 am edt on Capitol Hill today when the Senate went into their drama-riddled session? America's natal Ceres @ '9 Pisces' (security needs and issues; food/grain supplies and supply chains, etc) which has, since July 4, 1776, had the plutocrats' Pluto/Chiron midpoint conjoining it with its tinges of 'primal violence (which Washington expects when the American people realize the full gist of what's been done against us and hit the streets--peacefully, please!), corporatism, fascism, racism, and other -isms of oppression...basically the "Haves" in the Haves v Have-Nots equation.
Imho, the only planetary pair that describes the elitist US Senate better than Pluto/Chiron would have to be Jupiter/Pluto!
Yet throughout the debt-deal drama in DC, the words--or threat--of Senator Barry Goldwater (Jan 1, 1909; Sun Cap-Moon Tau) keep running through my common-good noggin:
"A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away."
Even refrigerators and microwaves, it seems--and the food that should go in them.

The Solar Return 2011 Horoscope of President Barack Obama w Sec Full Moon

President Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961 at 7:24 pm AHST and the Sun returns to natal position this year on August 5, 2011 at 3:07:01 am edt; the Solar Return chart (SR) below, is relocated to the White House.

Solar Return charts describe an entire year until one's next birthday and may be divided into quarterly sections for timing purposes with the Angular houses representing the first 4 months of the solar year (counting from the date of the return chart, here August 5th), the succedent houses (2,5,8,11) showing the next 4 months (here December 2011, January, February, March 2012), and the cadent houses (3,6,9,12) indicating conditions in the last 4 months before his August 2012 birthday.
As you know, there are many considerations when reading a SR chart such as:

And unless we hear otherwise, the US Senate is set to vote today at 1:00 pm edt on the Democratic version of a draconian spending cut bill that will allow a raising of the US debt ceiling, another act in the Political Default Theater on Capitol Hill meant to usher in by power elites a new form of government over the heads and deepest wishes of the American people.
Even a mini-Congress (aka, a 'Super Congress') may emerge out of this debt-default squabble of ideologies with a sinister-flavored Solar Eclipse occurring in November 2011.

rating, I'm not happy to say, for we've been allowed more credit than we deserve for quite some time. 'Coming down to earth with a bump' is difficult, but isn't all bad if you can learn its Saturnian lessons and plan for them.
My wish is that we take the fork in the (YOD) road that reins in America's out-of-balance budget, curtails fraud (if only Congress would return to its oversight duties, both Houses--Saturn Return!), and identifies and reduces waste wherever found, while supporting the American people whose taxes on earnings need a huge jobs-creation boost in order to continue to 'make happen' the 'New Atlantis'/corporate enterprise we call America--and all for the sake of our children who deserve much better than Washington politicians have been serving them in this, the over-glamorized, fearmongering New Millennium.

A "Super Congress" will Kill the US Congress (video)
Planning now to write a post on the November 2011 Solar Eclipse which unfortunately for those of us who wish to see America continue as a sovereign nation, relates to the topic Mr. Jones discusses in this 8-minute video of his show.

US economy slowed, Congress keeps grandstanding
Now here's an example of why a new poll shows the American public's approval rate of the 'work' Congress is doing is down to 6%. Makes me wonder what that 6% sees that the rest of us don't!

The Commerce Department says the economy expanded only 1.3 percent in the April-June period -- its weakest pace since the recession ended. High gas prices and scant income gains forced Americans to sharply pull back on spending.

Guess the GOP plan to regain the White House in 2012 is working against President Obama as it undermines the entire nation. A program to repair our crumbling infrastructure would greatly improve our unemployment problems, raise )tax) revenue, and put consumer monies into the economy which extending tax cuts for the rich can never do since they only pocket the change with a gleeful chuckle.
The story above shows some of the effects of the Republican Party--Tea Party alliance (such as it is) yet I suspect that the Freemasons who dressed as Indians and tossed pounds of tea into Boston Harbor wouldn't be as proud of what the current crop of slef-interested varmints are doing in 2011 as they might imagine in those wildest visionary dreams of theirs.
With today's Moon void-of-course (VOC) while in Cancer, it will be surprising if any real progress is made until tomorrow. And in effect are the twop midpoints we've discussed these last few weeks, each with one of the planets of the Enlightenment, aka, the Age of Reason. Stocks are falling, too, so I guess the Utopians are having their NWO way!
