NYC mosque near Ground Zero? Obama cites Golden Rule

Here at the beginning of Ramadan 2010, President Obama has handily delivered a speech concerning religion and the gracious plenty of it we've always had available here in America.

Lots of judging of others, regretfully, yet lots of houses of worship have been liberally sprinkled about the place since our nation's toddling days and before.

And you know that I wholeheartedly agree that 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you' is a grand concept that would work in the world's favor if only humankind would seriously follow it (faith is contagious!), for the endless cycle of revenge the globe is now entranced by and spiraling into would switch directions in a flash if everyone caught that particular drift on a core level and became inspired to seek life, not death.

To paraphrase Gandhi, There is no path to peace. Peace is the path.

If any of this irks you on some level, then you may as well keep reading. Because nothing I can say now will dissuade you from irksomeness, plus, you're almost done...

This next bit rhymes. And as such, it runs the risk of permanently offending both readers of this blog so I'll provide only a link to a Presidential verse in case you're feeling somewhat daring this evening...and yes, I know that political cat limericks may be ruffling to one's political sensibilities especially for those who wear their allegiances on their sleeves.

America now pitifully passe in Europe

In the debit column of international banksters, domestic and foreign speculators, fraudsters, and crooked politicians who justify selling out our nation on the basis of a 'higher plan' for global domination, America is now spoken of, if she is at all, with pity in Europe.

Part of the way the US is being 'seen' now in the world is through having transiting Saturn in US natal *10th house (larger world; the world stage; public status) with a 3-fer Saturn Return on the way 2010 into 2011. Now the transit is not an automatic planetary recipe for disaster. But it is if Saturnian lessons of responsibility, accountability, maturity, prudence, and moderation have not been heeded when they ought to have been.

So Thanks, Washington. Suck It, Wall Street. More Stimulus, President Obama.

Obama on Climate Change (April 3, 2006)

If only the Republican Party hadn't traded in its traditional conservationism for the goals of a neocon-Zionist permanent war economy and global cop status for the US to the point where US tax monies are not for the people's use but for extravagant spending on militaristic colonialism and conquest.

US economy to brink thanks to Fed, Wanted: armed and paranoid

Well, this beats all. (Watch this video, if you dare.)

It inspires me to repeat, Audit the Fed.

And Danny Schechter is right: we need jailouts for Wall Street, not bailouts.

That was the American taxpayers' money (what little of it wasn't mirage on paper) that they 'shipped off' to Europe and parts unknown after laundering the dirty parts through New York. Plunder and fraud. That's how The Octopus does b'ness. They are morally bankrupt. Their counterparts in Washington are no better - one passes the baton to the next and the good ole boys promote their brethren while protecting one another's sins so that no one's freedom of action is restricted when it's their turn to step over bounds and chip another chunk of principle from America's freedom documents.

Follow script. Push agenda. Above all.

Therefore, our elusive 'confidence' in the stock market and the US financial system will never be regained as long as all our henhouses are being left to the ravenous foxes. My secret suspicion is that there are certain sorts of things the power elite want - ex: for a certain segment or two of society to be armed and paranoid. They want a...clash. Everyone feels it in the air, compliments of the Cardinal T-Square and Grand Cross patterns forming with various planetary combinations of squares (obstacles; blockages) and oppositions (relationships; awareness) until about 2014.

Talk about arghh.

So what we have monkeying with our lives are these bossy robotic freaks, comporting themselves as the Big Boys' operatives - they play to win, you betcha. Members are recruited, usually through the education system so they catch them young, energetic, and hungry to make something of themselves, to get somewhere in the world. Talents are accessed and tested and recruits are used if doing so is profitable in some way...a variation on worldly ambition.

Perhaps I should say little more on the topic for now yet I should inform you that this is written for your entertainment. Or, consideration, if you wish.

Now please tell me: is this earth a habitat for humanity or is it not? Are we the planet's stewards or not? Since balances on many levels are changing, can we pull together (knowing that there's strength in numbers) rather than apart?

Will it be arms around the planet? Or fractured into non-existence?

Environmental degradation now occurs the globe over. Resource plundering has reached new highs (lows) perpetrated solely for the further profiting and market-cornering of industrialists and speculators who have plenty already. Refugees are being strong-armed and created each and every day, forced from their inherited lands to languish and roam; children are bullied into military and/or other types of cruel service.

Meanwhile, our Earth needs attention and balm. Most of mankind longs for a return to normalcy and kindness. If we can't take good care of our home and garden and make our base safer for our children's sakes, what else will matter when Earth's abundance is dried up and blown away?

So much to lose! And if we allow it to happen, we may all in turn become a...

It's Perseid meteor time! August 12 and 13, 2010

Avoid the city lights: it's time to look toward the starry heavens!

Space Weather News for August 12, 2010

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER: The annual Perseid meteor shower is underway. Earth is passing through a wide stream of debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle, and each time a fleck of comet dust hits Earth's atmosphere--flash!--there is a meteor. Forecasters say the shower will peak on Thursday, August 12, and Friday, August 13.

You can see Perseids flitting across the sky at any time between about 10 pm on Thursday evening and sunrise on Friday morning. Observers who get away from city lights can expect to count dozens of meteors per hour, especially during the dark hours before dawn.

Tune into SpaceWeather.com for full coverage of the shower, including a live meteor radar, a "fireball cam," updated meteor counts and pictures from around the world.

BONUS: If you go outside a little early on Thursday evening, around sunset, you'll see a beautiful gathering of planets in the sunset sky--Venus, Mars, Saturn and the crescent Moon. It's a nice way to start a meteor watch.

Yes, the Perseids, plus, the line-up of planets with the Crescent Moon, will be a lovely sight to see, agreed. This Crescent Moon marks the beginning of Ramadan 2010, however, and the inclusion of 3 planets with this particular Crescent Moon (Ramadan starts with the sighting of the Lunar sliver, the symbol found on flags of the region) is significant this year.

But with Capulus and Algol (male and female rage) in the picture, two strong Fixed Stars associated with the Middle East, the energy this August may be more warrior-like than most people wish. So you may wish to read my post from August 2009 for more details on Perseus the Prince. Or, perhaps you wish to simply look toward the starry heavens tonight and enjoy!

We've arrived at a historic turning point as a nation that no longer needs outside enemies to destroy us, we are committing suicide. Democracy. Capitalism. The American dream. All dying. Why? Because of the economic decisions of the GOP the past 40 years, says this leading Reagan Republican.

You know when I read or hear things nowadays about the bankruptcy of the United States, I always feel the Moon on 9/11/01 at '28Gemini' = "Through Bankruptcy, Society Gives to an Overburdened Individual the Opportunity to Begin Again."

Keynote: A release from unbearable pressures, freeing one for new tasks.

The bankruptcy proceedings mentioned here should not be construed as referring to a fraudulent type of bankruptcy. At least in the United States bankruptcy does not imply a moral condemnation, tahter, it means that individual failure cannot be separated from the health of the community. The special nature of the whole is implied in the failure of the part to perform adequately under particularly harsh economic conditions. A society which enthrones the principle of ruthless competition must also develop mechanisms to exteriorize the principle of compassion.

The latter was at first emphasized by Northern Buddhism, and soon after by Christianity. The concept of atonement is directly related to that of release from unbearable economic pressures in bankruptcy.

Here we have...(a) "leaving behind," a LIBERATION FROM THE PAST.

As the media and politicians have repeated over and over since The Towers were destroyed: the world is now changed and there's no going back. And as I've stated previously in many posts, bankruptcy of the we-the-people and of the nation was perhaps the primary motive for the attacks of 9/11 (World Trade Center) - and 9/11's ripples, and the costs of the wars it supposedly justifies, have led to precisely that desired outcome.

It's meant much less money for me and you, dear reader, but lots more money for the power elite to funnel into that mysterious money hole!

Yet there's one more thing about the US being bankrupt now: the culpability of Washington politicians who should have seen it coming and governed to head it off. My deepest suspicion is that they didn't want to head it off.

Alternately, perhaps it was their own greed and dishonesty that made a higher force (represented in charts by Pluto or combinations with Pluto such as Jupiter/Pluto, etc) impossible to outwit. Financial collapse would have been forced upon the US government as a necessary trial to go through on the path to a (supposedly inevitable) New World Order.

At the very least, US politicians sold us out because they couldn't or wouldn't take a stand on the people's behalf and protect us from Pluto, The Dragon. For when you search for 'where all the money went', first check Pluto's lair, is my best advice.

So are we still America, Land of the Free? Bosh! Check out the numbers of the current prison population in the US and you'll soon find that to be quite a massive fallacy, another empty 'dream' politicans and propagandists sold us as long as it was useful to them.

As I often say, America is my only nag in the race. Now I must add: in spite of how they've hobbled her!

So that's what I think in a nutshell. What do you think?
