Astrology of Pres Obama and the Pharoah

If you have an interest on the question of who Pres. Barack Obama may be 'channeling' read this concerning the Nodal Axis of Destiny and other natal chart synchronicities for our 44th president.

Is Mr. Obama the personification of a famous Egyptian pharaoh? Is he Abraham Lincoln 'returned' to finish the job, perhaps?

Or: fill_in_the_reincarnation_blank for Pres. Obama who is certainly being asked to carry past life tasks forward (SN), based on circumstances most of which were not of his making.

To a Saturnian astrologer such as myself, this is enough to cause a world o'trouble even without Joan D'Arc and her warring Mars lurking behind Neptune's veils of unconsciousness and past-life theories.

This implies much South Node (unconscious; inherited) behavior and more than a little helping of projection onto others for what we should take responsibility for ourselves. No US president was ever handed the Oval Office reins with so few resources and umph to effect improvement.

Yes, I do want to believe that this isn't all part of a NWO script meant to herald riots across the globe. Many are already occurring and are often instigated by Mars and his short fuse of political bombs. Paid for by...someone...there's testy Mars, with Pluto's secret backing, continuing through the centuries to foment chaos in order to force change.

Maybe the above Sinclair quote is a cup of steaming chicken soup, eh? Thing is, 'hatred, turmoil, and waste of human life' (aka, population control) are key parts of the restructuring agenda.

Now in my formative years, I was as happy a reader as anyone of such classics as Atlas Shrugged, Stranger in a Strange Land, 1984, Animal Farm - you know the list.

Brilliant authors provided literary ideas of horrible futures of totalitarianism and other nasty, anti-social -isms which may have resulted in quite explicit blueprints for those who needed such ideas to follow and mould to their requirements.

We may guess this, because they can read, too. And it was Edward Bernays' cynical use of his Uncle Sigmund Freud's work on mental/emotional control through the unconscious (1920s) that started the control-the-masses ball rolling in earnest and made possible our consumerism society which has now had the bubbled rug snatched out from under.

Since I recently posted a link to the BBC's excellent video series on Edward Bernays' work which enabled business and political use of public relations techniques (spark a 'need' unconsciously then fulfill it for a price) I will simply advise you to scroll below for the skinny on that thing we call consumerism and how it's been used against us by way of our unconscious desires.

You know, political candidates are merely products in the exalted world of manipulation and propaganda. We-the-people bought the poked pig the media and pundits kept pointing out to us - which is not to belittle Pres. Obama's talents - and now he must perform in lieu of all the swine before him who have led us to this sorry pass.

Lincoln's Sun is conjunct Mr. Obama's natal South Node, and vice versa. That's a large imperative imposed by the times which says that unconsciously, Pres. Obama will strive toward Lincoln's Solar goals, to be the best Aquarian he can be. The Sun in any chart, however, is not considered a karmic planet, but the Nodal Axis is.

That the current president may be aware of the links between them and their times can only aid Pres. Obama's journey on the path of balancing and re-righting as many of the wrongs of this Solar-based nation as he, in his presidency, has time to accomplish.

Otherwise, he may be 'channeling' in the dark.

Too bad so many bad actors insist upon standing in the president's way to the detriment of the common good. For with that, they obviously are not concerned, and they have their own plans, thanks.

Yeah, I like this interview with 'mother figure' Christina Romer on the economy as she tosses buckets of cold water from Old Man (or Woman in charge) Saturn, the Teacher and Lesson-Bringer, who continues to tangle with America's natal Neptune, planet of dreams, ideals, illusions, the masses, and mass media, in Virgo, sign of the dedicated worker...the same worker who is now getting a pink slip for often obscure reasons.

Truth to be probed on Capitol Hill!

In an ironic and hilarious turn of events, political thespians on Capitol Hill are discussing the setting up of a truth commission to probe law-breakers in the Bush-Cheney administration...as long as Bush and Cheney are kept safe.

"Truth" commissions, like the Warren Commission set up to obfuscate the assassination of Pres. John F. Kennedy, tend to find only truths they can hide. And Sen. Arlen Spector, of Warren Commission fame, is on the "truth" case again and making sure that Bush won't be harmed by Sen. Patrick Leahy's grandstanding on behalf of truth, the concept.

Wonder what will result from a 'truth probe' in Washington DC? Lots of talking done on our dime, no doubt, with no guarantees that anything of note will actually occur other than the uncovering of legal inconveniences and the smoothing of the populace's ruffled feathers.

Bulldozing the District swamp and starting from scratch might do the trick if you can get the grandfathered-in, wealth-addicted politicians shoveled on down the road to an ordinary life.

Then they might learn to truly appreciate what their sell-out of our nation has meant to and for...
